The elephant has an intense focus on family, including past and future generations. Indeed Elephant’s mantra could well be, “family first.” 


The Elephant challenges you to protect the young and weak of your tribe, while also recognizing the amazing extended family unit and how Powerful love and loyalty become when shared. Note that Elephant intuitively knows that not all “family” is bound by blood. 


In China, India and Africa, the elephant is a symbol for power, dignity, intelligence , happyness, good luck, reliability, royalty, pride and peace. In Christian symbolism the elephant is an icon of temperance, patience, and chastity.


The elephant is generally considered a symbol of good luck and the animal is a symbol of good fortune. They also symbolize wisdom, loyalty, strength, fidelity and longevity. As a symbol of wisdom, the elephant is said to attain old age and with all its wisdom. The animal is highly revered for its strength and power. It is the most positive animal symbol known with no negative consequence. 


Feminine wisdom is rich in the world of elephants. Elephants are known for their altruistic and compassionate treatment of each other. Whenever you’re feeling the need for empathy and nurturance, elephant spirit animal can help you come home. Elephant symbolism teaches us how to take our neighbors (both literal and figurative) into account when making decisions about how to obtain and utilize resources.

You likely are here because you saw an Elephant. These were inspired by the late Theresa Darling who chose the Elephant as her spirit animal after realizing how it began showing up in her life daily and how it symbolized important aspects of her life including her fight with terminal brain cancer. Grey also happens to be the color of brain cancer awareness.  

Eventually Terri decided to get a tattoo of the elephant which has inspired her friends and family in her loving memory as say the saying goes "elephants never forget".

So many  decisions are short sighted and it is time we take into consideration everyone that is affected by what we do.
